SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGER
Job description:
- You will be responsible in ensuring development team efficiency through facilitation, coaching and mentoring. You will facilitate Sprint planning, retrospective, and daily scrum meetings. Coach team members and help in the decision-making process.
Job responsibilities:
Meetings
- Facilitating meeting for the team. Includes:
- Preparing
- Moderating
- Post-processing
- Holding retrospectives meetings
Team Dynamics
- Coaching team members (one-on-one).
- Mediating the general conflict of goals between development team and product owner.
- Help the team to make decisions. Also helps the team improve their process.
- Foster the teams' self-organization.
- Help the team maintain their Scrum tools (story board, charts, backlogs..etc.)
- Help the team and product owner to find a suitable Definition of Done.
- Encourages communication within the team and with the stakeholders.
Product
- Help write or split user stories.
- Help write or adapt product visions.
- Help order product backlog items.
- Help with the release planning.
- Being familiar with the team's work (i.e. the product).
Skillset
- Communicative and social – Must be able to communicate well with people.
- Transparent – Must be able to bring up development issues and present alternative/ approaches.
- Focus on delivery to customer
- Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development.
- Understands basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
- Understand backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition.
- Familiarity with common Agile practices.
