ENGINEERING SEA HEAD (CEBU)
Responsibilities:
- Oversees Eng'g Sea team and onboard engineers to ensure readiness at all time in an aim of achieving the most efficient domestic shipping company.
- To ensure reliability of on time departure and arrival of vessels thru efficient and effective preventive maintenance system based on ISM standard.
- Ensures all deck and engine machineries' Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) are being carried out
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures of the section and to the department
- Ensure that drydocking and lay-up are properly planned ahead of the schedule
- Monitors fuel and lubes consumption of the fleet
- Monitor contractors' performance
- Ensure that In-house resources are fully maximized
- Ensure that all needed budgets are being made prior to the scheduled disbursement
Requirements:
- Graduate of BS Marine Eng'g or Mechanical Eng'g
- With atleast 5 years experience in shipping and has boarded a vessel
- Experienced in managing a team
- Experienced in vessel's technical problems
- Excellent in Technical skills
- Has leadership and management skills
- Computer literate
