Lighthouse Intellectual Property is operating in the field of visualization and intellectual property (IP) information analysis including the development of tools. Being the international service and supporting center of the Lighthouse IP Group, the Cebu office is currently covering the software development, document translation, data processing ,market research and customer service.
Currently we are looking for:
SOFTWARE ENGINEER/JAVA DEVELOPER
We are looking for a Software Engineer that will work closely with our Software Director and software team to develop standalone applications or web based applications.
Responsible for:
- Development of customer specific applications
- Effectively execute project tasks and phases assigned by the Software Director
- Help achieve customer satisfaction through on-time and on-budget completion of projects
- Ensure weekly reporting of time and expenses
- Participate on code review
- System enhancement and development
- Database design and creation
- Unit and System testing
- Issue resolution
What we ask:
- Well educated IT programmer with some years experience in application coding
- A professional attitude, both in working procedures and communication
- Ability to work under stress
- Problem solving skills
- Must be a fast learner
Specific knowledge/Experience:
- Prefer at least 2 years work experience as java software developer
- Experience working with java components, application servers, MVC and multiple frameworks
- Knowledge of Eclipse and other related IDE
- Experience using source code maintenance, continuous build and testing tools such as CVS, Maven, CruiseControl, and JUnit
- Understanding of the use of databases
- Understanding of XML
- Good knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns
- Experience in building standalone applications as well as web based applications
Education:
- Degree in IT Programming
- Practical work experience of 3 years
- Good at English
