Lighthouse Intellectual Property is operating in the field of visualization and intellectual property (IP) information analysis including the development of tools. USER INTERFACE WEB DEVELOPER
Position Summary
As a UI Web Developer with Lighthouse Software Cebu Inc you will join a growing team of development professionals responsible for designing, constructing, testing, and supporting Lighthouse systems and projects.
In particular, as a Web UI Developer, you will perform development and maintenance tasks for rich browser-based UI controls and components for the Lighthouse systems and projects. You will work closely with in-house and development team to build highly interactive, data-driven, skinnable UI components, using the full spectrum of browser-based technologies. Your work will demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to design excellence.
Working closely with other Software Developers, you will contribute to cross-team technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build web UI components to provided specifications and conduct detailed walk-thrus to ensure compliance and completeness
- Produce static graphics, animations, stylesheets, and program code as required
- Contribute to design and feasibility discussions
- Write and Maintain component documentation, including operating manuals, as necessary
Requirements
Ideal Candidates will have the following Technical Skills and Requirements:
- Proficiency with the following front end technologies
- HTML 5, Table less CSS, DOM, DHTML, XHTML
- Web frameworks (JQuery, DoJo, mootools, JSON, AJAX etc)- Tag libraries such as JSTL, Struts, XSL etc.
- Practical experience with XML and XSLT
- Proven ability to develop to web standards
- Experience implementing advanced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques
- Experience integrating with analytics platforms such as Omniture ang Google Analytics
- Experience developing in a web CMS like Drupal, Interwoven, Day, Django, Joomla etc.
- Track record designing and building high-volume, secure media web sites to address:
- Cross-browser scripting vulnerabilities
- Input validation
- Denial of service attacks
- User Generated Content (UGC)
- Basic knowledge of Java;
- Experience with SCRUM or similar agile development methodologies
- Experience with Maven, Subversion or equivalent tools
- 1-2 years of web design and development experience;
- Bachelors degree in appropriate discipline, or equivalent work experience;
