JOB – DESCRIPTION
Job – designation: LEAD OPERATOR
Main duties
1. Production Efficiency and Schedule Adherence
- Production management ( 5S / visual management/KANBAN Mgt )
- Responsible for attaining production targets in the line（Output / Process Scrap Rate/ Down Time Rate）
- Increase equipment efficiency
- Reduce material losses (SCRAP - rate)
- Reduce spare parts usage
- Reduce quality costs (rework)
- Initiate continuous improvement activities
2. Production Planning / Material / and FG management on line
- Control material flow
- Ensure in time delivery of finish goods
- Coordination in new material trial run
- Conducting material online inventory
- Responsible for managing jig cleaning
3. Skills Training and Evaluation
- Conducts skills training to operators and other employees
- Generates training guides and document standard training procedures
4. Personnel Management
- Overall supervision of staff, evaluate staff performance
- Directs, coaches, trains and disciplines staff
Education
- Preferably a College Graduate
- Experience of being train ed by a foreign company is a plus
Minimum job experience-preferable
- At least 5 years supervisory experience in an assembly production line
- Relevant work experience in conducting skills training for production operators
- Ability to generate training guides and document standard training procedures
- Experience in conducting training evaluation
- Familiar with work instructions, flowcharting and other problem-solving tools
- Start-up experience is preferred
- Willing to travel
Special knowledge and character
- High Initiative
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Can work with less supervision
- Entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour
- Willing to work in shifts
- Proficiency in learning new skills and understanding /documenting new processes
- Good interpersonal skills
