TEAM MANAGER - COLLECTIONS (CAN-Equivalent to Team Leader / Supervisor)

The Role:
- As a Team Manager, you will manage, coordinate and direct the daily operations of a unit of 12 -18 staff members, assigning their work and setting workflow priorities, introducing them to new procedures and tracking their performance.
- This includes coaching and developing associates, responding to customer inquiries, reviewing work and providing support information to the department in accordance with policies/requirements in order to meet the needs of the business.
- You will provide leadership to associates, including responding to associate relation issues, conducting performance reviews and provide training for career development.
- In this position, you will also recommend human resources actions (hiring, terminations, salary actions, and promotions), coordinate with management and other supervisors to resolve problems and work on special projects.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years customer contact experience
• One to two years supervisory or management experience required (preferably in a call center environment)
• Experience in banking or credit an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to coach and motivate individuals with varying levels of experience

IT Tech Support for Cebu Captive Operations (June 2010)

The Role
• Responsible for supporting and troubleshooting any incidents that arise within the desktop computing environments (Desktop, Laptop, Thin Client and Phone), and documenting any fixes or troubleshooting steps to ensure procedural consistency.
• Tier2 support for hardware/software. Respond to and triage escalated 2nd-tier support requests for all production network and server systems, and work with other Operations team members to follow issues through resolution.
• Coordinate issue resolution with 3rd-tier support personnel or outside vendors, as appropriate.
• Perform installations of new or updated systems into the test and production environments by following prescribed Build Guides or Software Installations Guides.
• Monitor production environment using existing monitoring tools of workstation, servers and peripheral devices at the sites.

Qualifications
• College degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related course.

Job Summary:
- The Customer Service Advisor/Financial Service Advisor is responsible for engaging the customer by identifying customer needs using appropriate listening and probing techniques and addressing them accordingly through resolution or product information.

COMPLIANCE OFFICER for Cebu Captive Operations

Job Objectives:

• Assist the Head of Philippines Compliance in overseeing the operations within JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., Philippine Customer Care Center (JPMPCCC) - ensuring that the company conducts its business in compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, laws, best market practices and Group compliance standards.
• Assist the Head of Philippines Compliance in ensuring that operating managers are provided with appropriate advice and guidance, regarding the regulatory environment, to enable them to establish the structure and framework required to be compliant in all business activities.
• To conduct all monitoring work devised to accomplish the above.
• To draft the requisite compliance reports submitted to management and Global Compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Advisory
• Advise JPMPCCC local management on applicable local and international regulations
• Coordinate and communicate regularly with Donor Compliance Officers
• Develop and update compliance manual policies and procedures in relation to regulations.
• In conjunction with Donor and LOB Compliance Officers, interpret and implement policies and regulations impacting processes and services that have been hubbed in JPMPCCC.
• Update businesses regularly about regulatory developments in coordination with relevant Donor Compliance officers.
• Keep abreast of latest developments or updates in the local market that are relevant to JPMPCCC's operations.

2. Regulatory Relationships
• Assist the head of Philippines Compliance in maintaining cordial relationships with local regulators
• Manage any individual and entity licensing requirements of JPMPCCC
• Coordinate with regulators during audits and inspections of JPMPCCC
• Manage all regulatory interface and communications (i.e. notifications, requests for approval, etc)

3. Training
• Develop relevant and suitable training programs
• Work with Donor and LOB Compliance officers to determine training requirements and implementation plans.
• Conduct staff training, both new hire and refresher training, maintain annual calendar of training schedules for JPMPCCC.
• Coordinate with LOB and Donor Compliance Officers to facilitate any special training where required.

4. Documentation
•Handle the preparation of internal reports
•Coordinate with Legal/local counsel and the Office of the Secretary on all legal and corporate secretarial tasks related to JPMPCCC.

5. Monitoring & Surveillance
•Assist in the development of templates and coordinate input from impacted functions for ensuring regular review and assessment of whether the local regulatory and donor locations requirements are being met.
•Assist the head of Philippines Compliance as well as LOB Compliance in the development and implementation of monitoring procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and with local regulatory, legal and industry requirements.
•Assist management in ensuring that the Code of Conduct and other internal policies are adhered to.
•Assist in the investigation of complaints, internal policy breaches and other concerns.

6. Migration of Projects:
• Provide assistance to Transition Management Team/ Air Traffic Control group, as applicable and Donor Compliance in relation to projects being moved to Manila.
•Work closely with the Regional and Global Compliance outsourcing Coordinators to ensure compliance issues are escalated and addressed and global outsourcing and offshoring processes followed.
•Provide initial green light approval on all offshoring projects
•Provide input to the Legal and Compliance framework documentation and review and sign off on all project framework documentation.
•Ensure implementation in JPMPCCC of various policy and regulatory requirements of Donor Locations in relation to the projects being migrated.
• Wherever necessary, provide advice in relation to Receptor location requirements relating to local regulations and policies in respect of projects being hub into Manila.
- Coordinate with Legal to review Service Level Agreements and other documentation to ensure that they are in compliance with local regulations.

7. General
•Interface between the LOB and Donor Compliance Officers on BAU issues.
•Liaise with internal and external Legal as well as Audit for any regulatory and compliance issues

Qualifications:
• Knowledgeable on banking-related laws, rules, regulations, practices
• Self motivated and proactive; able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Organize and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Possess good regulatory experience with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Have experience working in the banking industry, preferably in the areas of Risk Management; Legal and Compliance
• Have good communication and presentation skills - both oral and written
