WEB DEVELOPER
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Create/develop web pages with conformance to customer's business and technical requirements. In doing so, the candidate must have the highest regard on the quality of the deliverable(s) within planned duration.
• The candidate should have above-average communication skills and should be able to interact with peers and/or customers both written and verbally.
• Self-proficient and can work/accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Can start immediately.
Technical Skills
• Proficient in the use of XHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and MySQL
• Must be adept with W3C guidelines and best practices on code structures
• Familiar and had hands-on experience developing web sites that are cross browser compatible.
• Must be well versed and comfortable with open source Content Management Systems (CMS) – specially Word Press and CMS Made Simple
• Design skills would be an advantage
• Able to convert Photoshop designs for web display
• Knowledge of Flash action scripting is a plus
• Should be familiar with secure operation of FreeBSD, Mac OSX, and Linux web servers.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• 2 or more years of web development experience preferably from a software development company.
