ARCANYS is a Swiss company based in Cebu City. Arcanys partners with IT departments and consulting firms in Switzerland and the USA to extend their development teams, in the fields of e-commerce websites and solutions, database applications, mobile applications and other fun projects.
Is currently looking for:
UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
Mandatory skills:
• Strong knowledge in installing, configuring, and maintaining Unix systems including Redhat/Debian Linux and MacOSx
• Strong knowledge in LDAP and directories synchronization concepts
• EMC (or any other) SAN knowledge
• Strong knowledge of local area network administration tools, applications and protocols including TCPI/IP, DNS DHCP, SMTP, IMAP, Kerberos and NIS
Optional skills:
• Project Management experience is a plus
• Nagios knowledge is a plus
• Scripting language (vbs, Perl, powershell) is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle DB 9 and Oracle AS 9 is a strong plus
• Knowledge in JAVA app server – JBoss/Tomacat
• Willing to participate in an on-call rotation
• Knowledge of vSpher administration
