IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains daily monitoring and preventive maintenance to maintain desktop performance.
- Performs daily inventory for all IT Equipment.
- Submits real time report to Supervisor for all busted/damaged equipments.
- Informs Technical Support Supervisor before installing any software.
- Follows work instructions on installing software, drivers, and tools.
- Updates Software inventory file.
- Monitors and updates Helpdesk Request in real time and provide proactive approach on cat ering client requests.
- Escalates advance desktop issues to next level if needed.
- Performs weekly evaluation/inventory on desktop equipments.
- Follows work instructions on applying security policies and procedures.
- Coordinates in a timely manner to Technical Support Supervisor and NOC Team for any network abnormalities.
- Ensures all equipments are physically, properly connected and configured.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related course.
- At least 1-2 years work experience in a related field of work.
- Well versed in Windows XP Operating System.
- Ability to understand and apply the IT processes and tools (hardware and software systems) used to develop systems supporting the effective flow and use of information as a strategic company resource.
- Demonstrate knowledge and technical support capabilities in com puter hardware, desktop installation and maintenance, network access & connectivity, IT tools, devices & equipment, and installation & updating of licensed software in company desktops.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Applications.
- Ability to convey information and express oneself clearly orally and in written form, in a persuasive or logical manner to individuals or groups to ensure that they understand the message.
- Ability to anticipate the implications and consequence of situations and taking appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies.
- Good English communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be willing to work in a graveyard shift / Shifting schedule.
