Netwise, a Tokyo-based web design and online marketing agency, has opened a new development c enter in Cebu and is recruiting experienced web application developers. We are currently recruiting for the following position:
WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER / JOOMLA EXPERT
Summary
- Development and support of custom and Joomla-based websites and web applications.
- Additional activities related to ongoing technology projects either in an advisory or participant role may be required.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Development, maintenance, and customization of Joomla and WordPress websites
● Development, testing and deployment of custom web applications and services
● Design, develop, and update databases as they relate to Web applications
● Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with web applications
● Gathering and analyze business requirements
● Create system specifications and other technical documentation
Required Skills & Experience
● Extensive experience implementing and customizing Joomla
● Minimum 5 years work experience as a web developer
● Full working knowledge of PHP, Apache, MySQL
● Extensive experience implementing and customizing WordPress
● Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript
● Experience with Ajax, jQuery, Prototype, MooTools, etc.
● Knowledge of international web standards and protocols
Desirable Skills & Experience
● Extensive experience implementing and customizing Magento
● Experience with responsive web design
● Experience with multi-lingual/multi-locale website development
Required General Skills
● Ability to handle projects efficiently and deliver on time
● Ability to work individually or in a team
● Ability to meet tight deadlines
● Ability to adapt an d pick up new techniques and technology
● Be thorough and precise in their work
● Able to honor obligations and be honest
● Be hardworking and driven
● Highly self motivated and directed.
● Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
● Experience working in a small, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Salary
- Commensurate with experience and capabilities
Working Hours
Monday through Friday, 9：00 to 18：00 (flexible)
Non-working Days
- Weekends and National Holidays
