TECHNICAL SUPPORT ASSOCIATE for a CABLE TV SYSTEMS ACCOUNT

Job Overview:
- This Technical Support Representative will answer inbound calls for clients of a leading Cable Television Systems provider in the US.
- The successful candidate will handle queries from customers who sign up for new cable television service or who have problems with existing service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Representative will speak to new customers about the various products and services available through the cable company and offer additional products such as high speed internet, cable TV and digital cable, business networks, and telephone service.
- The successful candidate must be able to handle issues with billing or with service quality.
- They will manage the customer service experience by addressing and solving som e issues themselves, or may connect customers to a manager or supervisor who is able to finish assisting the customer.

Job Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have completed at least 2 years in college
- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Must pass customer service/computer assessments (able to use Windows and meet minimum typing speed)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills (can calm customers who are upset or frustrated)
- Must possess active listening skills with a keen attention to detail
- Flexible and can adapt to change easily
