Currently we are looking for:
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related course
• Minimum of 2 years solid experience as systems administrator in managing mission-critical services under Windows 2000/2003 server platform with in-depth understanding of IIS, ISA, DHCP, DNS, active directory and group policy
• Hands on experien ce in Cisco Router, PIX and Switch configuration is an advantage
• With Cisco or Microsoft certification is an advantage
• Good English communication skills, both written and oral
• Has leadership skills, independent and fast learner; highly motivated
• Can work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Willing to work on a GRAVEYARD SHIFT
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Reports directly to the Cebu Sr. IT Manager
• Coordinates with IT Managers in Managing/Administering Windows 2000/2003 Server
• Making sure that production servers are 100% up and running and is implemented based on IT best practices
• Making sure that security policies on computers are implemented properly and updated
• Making sure that operation concerns and request are addressed immediately
• Making sure that IT/company SOP and processes are carried out all the time
• Making sure that all se rvers / computer security updates & patches are applied all the time including anti-virus definition updates
• Implement data back-up system on normal basis
• Ensure the good health of the servers by:
- Monitoring the memory utilization
- Monitoring the CPU utilization
- Monitoring the Disk usage and capacity
• Maximize the utilization of our resources (servers)
• Prevent capacity overflow by trends utilization
• Help troubleshooting Tier2 and Tier3 issues on other centers
• Lead and supervise Systems Administrators
• Coordinate efforts and synergies with other centers
• Submit Daily/Weekly or Monthly Reports to the SR IT Manager depending on the needs or circumstances
